Well I got too excited...

And didn't wait for the onsies to completely dry from the soda ash.  And believe me.  The next time I am definitively doing it the right way.  I have a few favorites, but all in all I'm not even 30% happy with the outcome. But I guess I'll just have to try again.

But here are my 3 favorites:
Captain America:

Batman:

and Flash:

I really like the flash one.  Well until next time...

4:30am Meijers run?

So when I have something set in my brain I have to do it now.  And I really want to go to Meijers to buy onsies, a sponge and a paint brush.  Trying to convince SO might be another problem.  Might have to wait till morning.

Possibly Boardwalk for lunch, then I can get a 5 gallon bucket, and then Meijers for onsies?  Lets see how well I am at convincing.

New blog...

Though I'd start a blog.  To share my custom tie dye designs.

Anyways I was going through O's old clothes that I had given my sister, and I came across a tie dye onsie (infant creeper).  It was probably the sweetest thing I have ever seen.  So I decided when I had a baby, I'd want them to have tie dye onsies.  But I want to go one step further with it.  I have a feeling this one is a boy (I know its early but I'm pretty sure) so I want to make a few custom ones.  A fellow friend crochets and I asked her to make me a Thor and Captain America hat, and I thought wouldn't it be sweet to have a tie dye onsie with custom super hero symbols?  So this Sunday, I plan on sitting back, rolling up my sleeves and attempting to make a few.  A few ideas I have been tossing around are Batman, Superman (so's fave), Captain America and Green Lantern.  I found a few techniques on the internet, such as painting and sponging on tie dye, so I'm going to give it a try.    I'll post pictures after I create a few.  BTW I'm super excited.
